Fire Compliance Programme

Fire compliance is much more than just completing a Fire Risk Assessment. Our programme covers eight core services to ensure you meet the eighteen separate areas that must be met to comply with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Fire Compliance Audit

The first step is for us to carry out a Fire Compliance Audit. The outcome of this provides a level of compliance and an indication of enforcement action where applicable. The audit covers all the areas audited by Fire Authorities and the resultant report prioritises an action plan.

Fire Risk Assessment

A Fire Risk Assessment will be carried out, whether or not one is in place. This is to ensure that the assessment, one of the main foundation documents, is suitable and sufficient from which to base compliancy. The Fire Risk Assessment will be replaced after 5 years regardless.

Assistance and Advice

Where following the risk assessment, deficiencies are identified, we will provide assistance and advice to fulfil the requirements. Thereafter, this will be provided as required.

Fire Safety Documentation

Where necessary, we will write and provide you with a fire safety policy, an emergency plan, an evacuation procedure and a log book to record the results of tests and maintenance on fire safety equipment.

Training

We will fulfil all your fire safety training requirements, including fire safety managers, fire wardens and fire safety awareness for your employees.

Liaison with Authorities

If required, we will represent you in any liaison that may be required with the authorities.

Certificate of Compliance

Once a satisfactory level of compliancy is achieved, we will issue you with a certificate confirming this. The certificate is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of issue.

Annual Audit

We will audit your premises each year to confirm your continuing compliancy and if satisfactory re-issue you with a new certificate.
