Mike Davies

Mike Davies was a serving fire officer for 30 years. He has worked in three Fire Authorities: Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Nottinghamshire. His senior appointments include Brigade Training Officer, Divisional Commander, Head of Forward Planning and Brigade Senior Operations Officer. He was also seconded to the Home Office as an Instructor at The Fire Service College in Moreton in Marsh.

Mike was the founder of The Fire Officers' Association, a national organisation representing senior and middle managers in the Fire Service. He was President of the Association for 5 years and served on many Home Office Committees and Working Parties. Having worked in fire consultancy for a number of years, he is a director of 1666.
